Fietsen langs de Moezel en op de mooie paden in de omgeving natuurlijk! Terwijl rechts en links langs de Moezel grotendeels comfortabel wordt gefietst op vlakke, verharde paden, zijn er ook paden door weilanden en bossen, waar een beetje elektrische ondersteuning welkom kan zijn. Maar ook de sportieve, ambitieuze wielrenner krijgt kan hier zijn hart ophalen: dankzij een zeer vlak hoogteprofiel bereik je vrij snel de meer afgelegen locaties aan de Moezel.<\/p><h2>De Maare-Mosel-Fietsroute<\/h2><p>Erg populair, ook op warme zomerdagen is de Maare-Mosel-Fietsroute. De fietsroute voert met een \u00a0zachte helling over een niet meer gebruikte spoorlijn van Bernkastel-Kues naar het 58 km verderop gelegen Daun. Langs de rivier Lieser gaat het over velden, door schaduwrijk bos en door enkele spoorwegtunnels. Als u het liever rustiger aandoet, kunt u in de vroege ochtend de speciale Radel-bus naar Daun nemen. Deze vertrekt onder meer in het nabijgelegen Bernkastel-Kues.
