Aken naar Trier en de Vulkaneifel-paden nodigen u uit om deze prachtige lage bergketen te voet te verkennen.<\/p><p>Als u liever met de fiets onderweg bent, kunt u terugvallen op een landelijk netwerk van uitstekend ontwikkelde fietspaden of iets speciaals beleven en een fietstocht maken op een van de niet meer in gebruik zijnde spoorlijnen.<\/p><p>De Maren, het handelsmerk van de Vulkaneifel, mogen zeker niet worden gemist. Sommigen van hen, zoals de Meefelder Maar, Pulvermaar, Schalkenmehrener Maar en de Gem\u00fcndener Maar nodigen u op warme zomerdagen uit ter verkoeling.<\/p><p>Maakt u ook zeker een uitstapje naar de vele kastelen en paleizen van de Eifel, naar de historische dorpen met hun charmante vakwerkhuizen of naar de Bitburger-brouwerij.
