DURING YOUR STAY
We’re glad you’re here!
Here you will find some important information about your stay at Haus37. Please read this carefully so that you and your successor can both enjoy a place of relaxation.
CHECK-IN is available from 3 PM. The address is Uferallee 3, 54470 Bernkastel-Kues (Wehlen district).
- You can access the key safe via the staircase directly beside the front door.
- All other room keys along with guest cards (also valid as public transport tickets) are stored in the entrance area.
- The master key is to be taken by the main responsible person; this will allow you to unlock all booked rooms.
- If you notice any defects or malfunctions, please report them to us immediately via WhatsApp.
- The booked laundry packages are located in the entrance area.
- All items in and around the house may be used by you. Please do not dispose of any waste, food scraps, or harmful liquids in sinks, washing machines, or toilets. Use the provided waste containers for this purpose.
- The drinks provided in the snack kitchen can be paid for according to the price list via PayPal (info@moselhotel-sonnenurh.de) or in cash.
- If you take food from the kitchen or drinks from the bar, please leave an appropriate cash amount in the piggy bank in the kitchen/bar at your discretion.
CHECK-Out; the house/grounds will be available to you until 11:00 AM. Please take note of the following upon departure:
- You are welcome to leave any unused food in the refrigerator.
- Please separate the household waste into paper, lightweight packaging (yellow bag), and residual waste. Place these items together in front of the bar’s outer door on the day of departure.
- Return any moved furniture, appliances, and utensils to their original place.
- Wash and dry used dishes, cutlery, and glasses, then place them back in the cabinets.
- Deposit used linen in the central entrance area.
- Report any damages to the furnishings via WhatsApp.
If these tasks are not completed upon departure, we will have to charge for the time required to address them.
SMOKING & FIRE SAFETY
Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel. Violation of this smoking ban will result in a fee of 1100 €, as direct re-rental is not possible.
Candles may only be used in fireproof containers – please do not use candles in the sleeping area!
In case of fire, a fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen. If the smoke detector goes off, please leave the house immediately and report the incident to emergency services and emergency numbers.

PARKING
You are welcome to park your car in the designated parking areas around the accommodation, please ensure that the entrance and exit remain clear. Only when all parking spaces are occupied can both e-parking spaces be used.
CHARGING STATIONS FOR ELECTRIC CARS
With the attached QR code, you can charge your electric cars and pay for the electricity consumption.
DAMAGES
The cushions of the garden furniture and loungers should not be left outside overnight or during rain. If you accidentally cause damage to the furnishings, please inform us immediately. Please understand that we will have to charge for any costs and downtime incurred. Therefore, we kindly ask you to handle the entire furniture with care – thank you!

SONOS SOUND SYSTEM
The audio for the rooms on the ground floor is controlled via the iPad in front of the fitness room.
PAYMENTS
Payments are only possible via prepayment or in cash upon check-in.
BICYCLE GARAGE
The bicycles can be parked in the garage (brown garage door) or in the silver container.

PRIVATE SPA
Please take care of your health and do not use the sauna or hot tub if you have a medical condition. While most people can enjoy saunas and pools without issue, there are those who need to take special precautions. If you are taking medication or have health concerns, please consult your doctor beforehand.
You should avoid the sauna/hot tub if you:
- have unstable angina, poor blood pressure, heart rhythm disturbances, or severe heart failure, or have recently had a heart attack,
- have kidney or liver diseases or other serious heart problems,
- are pregnant or planning to become pregnant (use may affect fetal development or reduce sperm count),
- feel unwell, tend to faint, or have recently suffered from heatstroke,
- are taking medications that prevent sweating or may lead to rapid overheating.
Recommendation: Do not consume alcoholic beverages before use; instead, drink two to four glasses of water.
Using the hot tub and sauna is at your own risk. Usage is free of charge.
Please keep noise to a minimum after 8 PM to avoid disturbing the neighbors. Smoking is prohibited throughout the spa area.
WHIRLPOOL
You will receive a current picture of the whirlpool via WhatsApp before your arrival.
To ensure all guests can enjoy the whirlpool in pristine condition, we kindly ask you to observe the following hygiene rules:
Please shower before use. Do not apply creams or lotions.
Physical discharges must be avoided.
- Jumping into the pool is not permitted.
- Consumption of food and drinks is prohibited in and around the pool.
- To maintain water quality, please add two scoops of chlorine to the water every evening after use.
- Please use the net or vacuum to remove dirt, leaves, or other debris.
- The buoy for measuring water quality must remain in the pool at all times and must not be removed or opened. If a critical value is indicated, we must regulate the water quality on-site.
A water change is very labor-intensive. If necessary, we will unfortunately have to charge a flat fee of 300 €. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Opening the Pool:
Open the two clips at the front.
Fold the first part of the cover back.
Then, use the metal bracket to fold both covers back.
[Jets]
The jets (in the display fan wheel) can be switched on in three levels: LEVEL 1 / LEVEL 2 / OFF.
[Lights]
This function is particularly suitable for the evening hours.
Please turn it off after use.
Closing the Pool:
Turn off the JETS.
Fold the metal bracket forward and close the clips again.
Note:
If the pool is currently in filter or heating mode, it cannot be completely turned off. It will automatically revert to LEVEL 1 in this case.
Please leave all other switches in the display untouched to ensure trouble-free operation.
Only activate the jets when the water level is at least 10 cm above the jets.
Please close the pool again and reset the jets after each use.
SAUNA
Please note that the sauna requires 45 minutes to warm up at an outside temperature of 15 degrees; accordingly, the times may vary depending on the outside temperature.
The upper toggle switch must always be in position 1.
Function:
Activate the display by briefly pressing the lower rotary knob.
Power Switch:
Press once briefly → bright background on the display = standby mode.
Press and hold → The display counts down 3, 2, 1 = The sauna is now activated.
To turn off, press the switch again.
Light:
Turning the light on and off.
Important Notes:
Please leave all other switches and buttons untouched to ensure trouble-free use.
Use a maximum of one full ladle of water for each infusion.
Please always place a towel underneath and take it back to the main building after use.
- If you use the heater in the anteroom, it must be disconnected from the power supply after use, Fire hazard!
KITCHEN
Please treat the kitchen with care and attention at all times.
All used utensils, porcelain, glasses, cutlery, devices, and work surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned after use and returned to their designated place.
You can find the quick guides for the following devices in the kitchen:

- Combi steamer
- Induction cooktop
- Chamber vacuum sealer
The other devices such as slicer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and KitchenAid are self-explanatory.
For coffee preparation, two filter machines are available to you.
Bar / Party Cellar
Please handle the bar with care and attention.
All used utensils and glasses must be thoroughly cleaned after use and returned to their designated place. A small selection of spirits is available there. The piggy bank would appreciate a little treat if you take something :-).
The bar has the following amenities:
- Cooling drawers
- Wood fireplace
- Turntable
- Mobile party box
- Draft beer system (by prior arrangement and at an extra charge)
Light:
In addition to the usual wall switches, there are additional light switches in the fuse box behind the bar and under the sideboard.
Turntable:
- Turn on the amplifier. / Playback AUX
- Cover the turntable and unlock the tonearm.
- Set the speed.
- Lower and raise the tonearm only using the lift!
Mobile Party Box:
- Turn on the box.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button for longer than 5 seconds.
- Select “Sound Tower 40F” on your device via Bluetooth.
- Play music from the connected device.
Wood Fireplace:
We recommend warming up the fireplace about 1 hour before using the bar during cooler temperatures.
Note: Always ensure that the damper in the flue remains open.
To regulate the heat in the room, please use the three ventilation flaps on the outer fireplace.
